The byrd BY21 Wings SLIPIT is a twin-bladed slip-joint pocketknife that combines the best qualities of classic design and modern materials. It features two full-sized blades made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel that provide functional versatility that no single-bladed knife can match. The Sheepfoot-shaped blade is hollow-ground with 2-1/4 inches (57mm) of serrated cutting edge and a rounded point for puncture-free cutting. The second blade is a clip-point profile that is also hollow ground and offers the same amount of plain-edge cutting surface. Each blade has a notched spring joint that does not lock, but holds the blade open during use like a traditional slip-joint pocketknife. The handle of the Wings SLIPIT is constructed with stainless steel liners and bolsters with textured G-10 laminate scales.
